Changing the Conversation Frame

Have you ever noticed that most men’s conversations with women follow a certain path? Stop me if the following sounds familiar to you:

Guy: Hey my name is such and such what’s yours?

Girl : My name is so and so

Guy: Cool What do you do for a living?

Girl: I do x

Guy: Where are you from?

Girl: I live in the city

Now let me ask you a question. Did any of the above conversation inspire you or spark any type of emotional response in any way shape or form? Chances are it didn’t and guess what, if it failed to inspire you it most certainly failed to inspire the girl.

It seems like such a simple concept, but most guys lose site of this in a conversation and get drawn into the same 10 question trap that has been boring women to tears for decades.

Guys always ask me how they can avoid these standard questions. In order to change the series of questions, you must first change the premise in which the questions are being asked.

When you first meet a girl online you meet under the pretense of guy picking up girl online. This situation really limits your line of questioning and restricts your ability to create a dynamic and refreshing conversation.

One of the best ways to get around this is by changing the frame of the conversation. Instead of guy trying to pick up girl online, create a different scenario. For example, guy reconnecting with long lost love.

I personally like to use the following, “Hey I know we don’t know each other but I thought I’d let you know that things between us will never work out.” The line is effective because it automatically changes the frame of the conversation and at the same time garners an emotional response.

From here you can take the conversation in a whole bunch of different directions. It’s not what you say that’s important, what is important is that you keep it playful and humorous and you use it as an opportunity to showcase your creativity and wit.

You can use the above scenario or come up with a creative one on your own. Try it out and see how it works for you.

Here’s a real success story from one of our boot camp sessions

I can’t believe how easy it was for me to land a model. I’m still on cloud nine. About 3 months ago I decided to take action and improve my love life. I’ve always been the guy whose had little to no luck with women. One morning I woke up and I decided enough was enough.

My search for answers led me to the Internet where I cam across Ramses’ site. I was curious about it so I signed up for one of his boot camp sessions here in Montreal. I was nervous at first, pretty hesitant but I attended. It turned out to be a life changing experience.

We spent the first day in seminar sessions learning the theory behind attraction. My big sticking point was how to overcome approach anxiety, so when then night came around and our club sarge was on I was a little hesitant, in fact I was terrified.

Ramses pumped me up though and got me into the zone, he took me on as his wing and in no time I was opening sets. First one, then 2 and then I was on a roll.

I opened this beautiful model chick who was sitting by herself at the bar. I quickly created rapport and isolated her to a booth in the back. Before the end of the night I’d made out with her and grabbed her number.

Completely unreal, and all of it is true. In the state of the moment I lost site of my fear and just sort of cruised on autopilot. Ramses really helped me with that.

Sarging at the PlayBoy Mansion

Last week I was able to live out a fantasy that most men only dream of. I was down in LA at a conference and on the last day of the show I ran into an old friend of mine. I hadn’t seen him in quite some time so we spent an hour or so catching up over drinks in the hotel bar. He asked me what I was doing later in the night. Unfortunately my plans had been cancelled at the last minute so he graciously invited me to a party he was attending later on in the night.

He hurried off to his room and reappeared within 10 minutes with a gold bracelet in hand. I asked just what kind of party it was. He replied “it’s a party at the mansion.”

Now in my mind there can be no better party than a mansion stocked full of 300 gorgeous playmates dressed in nothing but body paint. I was game, so I retired to my room to change and get ready for the night that lied ahead.

The bus leaving for the mansion pulled up at quarter to 7 and we jumped onboard for our trek. An hour later we had arrived. There were gorgeous women everywhere and when I say everywhere, I do mean everywhere. Not only were there tons of girls to go around, but all of them were HB8’s or better.

I was overwhelmed, so I headed off to the bar to grab a drink. On my way outside a gorgeous brunette stopped me and asked for a smoke. I responded, “Only if you come smoke it with me.” So the game was afoot. The girl and her friend joined me and my friend outside. Before long I had isolated and we set off for the grotto.

We talked about how she made it into playboy and where she was from. Then I turned it up a notch. I brought out the cube and nailed her dead on. “I’m going to go grab a drink, come with me” I said. So we headed inside and I grabbed a drink. We then sat down on a couch where I offered to give her a foot message. She crawled up in my lap and before long I had my arm around her and her head on my shoulder. I went in for the kiss close and she was sold.

We stayed there for the rest of the night until the lights came up at 2. I grabbed her number and headed back to the hotel quite proud of myself.

It just goes to show you that no matter how hot they are, the secrets of attraction work all of the time. And just to add a little social proof, here’s a shot of me at the mansion with some of the gorgeous girls that I met.

East Coast Vs. West Coast

OK-- here's a question. How does geography affect your game? I am from Jersey and I have the Jersey thing down, Northeast chicks in general I think. Wnen I go into Manhattan, I don't have any issues. But-- me and some friends (actually among them is one of our own members, ICEBERG) are heading out to LA in a few weeks on a vacation/PUA exchange of sorts. Any west coast advice?

Well, I kinda meant everyone.. International even, I just called out E vs. W because I'm from the east and I'm going west. Would be curious to see if anyone else feels they need a different approach because of where they live.

Yeah, maybe-- but there is a difference between city and country. You can't use the same game you use in Boston that you use in Bar Harbor, Maine. You can't deny that city chicks are different than country cooch.
